Wiped Out

Maggee and Lucy were sooo exhausted from our long day at Seven Peaks. They didn't make it five minutes in the care before I turned around and found them asleep.

Ellie is 8!!!!

I can't believe that I know have to children that have turned 8. We treat this birthday as an extra special one in our family. Which mainly means that we just let them pick something out of the ordinary to go and do as a family. Ellie wanted to go to Seven Peaks this year. The kids loved it. Lucy was very content in the kiddie pools all day long

First Day of School

This post is a little late. But better late than never. I cannot believe that the school year is already starting again. This year will be quite different. I am very used to always having at least two of my kids at home with me. This year the three oldest will be in school all day long. Lucy will gets a lot of one on one time with me. I was a little worried at how Maggee would handle the all day schedule but she loves it!!!! I hope her teacher is ready for her high spirited personality. Lucy loves to send the kids out the door in the morning and put them on the bus. She stands to the side as they all load the bus and then waves as the bus passes her by. That's where I come in and have to run out to get her or she tries to sneak over to Karols (grandma's) house. Wow!!! I am down to my last child at home. I am not quite sure how I feel about that.

Maggee

There was no other name to name this post but "Maggee". Here's a short story to say why.

I have a very good friend whose name is Jayne Muir. My kids absolutely love her!! One weekend Jayne, and her husband, Robert had Maggee and Ellie spend the night at their house. That night they went to Dairy Keen for dinner. While they were waiting for their food they went and loaded up on fry sauce. Maggee, Ellie, and Jayne all brought the little cups of fry sauce back to the table. Maggee put them all in the middle of the table and said, "There, now we can all share the fry sauce." Well aparently Robert likes to have his own fry sauce, not to mention that he is a little shy as it is when it comes to kids. He reached to the middle of the table and put his share of fry sauce infront of him. This seemed to bother Maggee. She turned to Robert and said, "so, you don't like to share" Anyone who knows Maggee knows that this is just like her to say something like this. On the other hand, kids are always our best teachers. Our family would not be the same without our little Maggee!

Crazziness

So it has been a while since I last blogged. I do have quite a few things to put on my blog, but at this momment I still don't have much time. So I thought I would just take a quick sec and just list a few things that have been keeping me buisy. Hopefuly in a few days I will have more time.

-Kick out the lady living in my parents house
-clean their house anticipating their homecoming from their mission
-sister with three children move in with me
-trying to adjust to a house full of seven kids running everywhere!
-going to spring city the last three weekends to help my parents
-Last and worst of all....lice infection in the Edwards home
I never thought my kids would get lice. My sister's oldest child got it and it all spread from there, but we do still love them! I thought my sister was going to have a heart attack. What a Nightmare!!!!
